Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in laboratory techniques and data management to ensure accurate results that contribute to patient care.
Duties
- Conduct a variety of laboratory tests and analyses on biological samples, including blood and other bodily fluids.
- Perform DNA isolation and other molecular biology techniques as required.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry, management, and analysis.
- Analyze test results and maintain accurate records of findings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret laboratory results and provide insights based on physiological knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
- Participate in research projects within the laboratory setting as needed.
- Conduct blood sampling procedures while monitoring vital signs when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Strong data analysis skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in medical terminology and laboratory practices.
- Knowledge of physiology and experience working in a research laboratory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with blood sampling techniques and vital signs monitoring.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and healthcare providers.
