Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursery Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborns and infants, ensuring their health and well-being in a nurturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of pediatric care standards and the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to newborns and infants, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed.
- Assist with IV infusion, pain management, tube feeding, and triage of patients to ensure timely and effective treatment.
- Collaborate with families on family planning and educate them on infant care practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Support the medical office team in various capacities, including assisting in assisted living environments when necessary.
- Participate in esthetic laser treatment procedures as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Work closely with pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) staff to provide specialized care for critically ill infants when needed.
Requirements
- Current nursing license with specialization in pediatrics or relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of nursery standards and best practices in infant care.
- Experience with IV infusion, pain management, family planning, tube feeding, triage, medical office procedures, assisted living environments, esthetic laser treatments, or PICU is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing patient needs.

Pay: $70.00 - $76.00 per hour
