Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, and home community care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and the ability to manage airway procedures effectively. The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to established standards of care.

Duties

• Assess and monitor patients' health status by conducting thorough physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Provide catheter care and manage airway procedures as needed, ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Document patient progress accurately using ICD-10 coding for diagnoses and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with healthcare standards.

Experience

• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Previous experience in outpatient settings or assisted living is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ICD-10 coding is essential.
• Experience in airway management and catheter care is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $68.61 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
