We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. Duties
- Administer injections and assist with various catheterization procedures.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to ensure appropriate care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in discharge planning.
- Perform gastric lavage as needed and assist in managing patient recovery.
- Provide education to patients regarding their procedures, including potential risks and benefits.
- Utilize sonography techniques when necessary to support diagnostic processes.
- Stay informed about workers' compensation law as it pertains to patient care.
- Assist with mammography procedures when required, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Lift and transport patients safely within the clinical setting.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience administering injections is essential.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems.
- Knowledge of dermal fillers is a plus but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in discharge planning and patient assessment is preferred.
- Understanding of gastric lavage techniques is beneficial.
- Experience with sonography and mammography will be considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
