Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient and family education on disease processes and self-care techniques
Experience
- Prior experience in a hospital setting is required
- Proficiency in airway management, pediatrics, medical imaging, and critical care transport is preferred
- Knowledge of Cerner electronic health records system is a plus
- Experience in acute care, coding, dialysis, and aliment management is beneficial
