RN House Supervisor

Job Overview
The House Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that all staff members are providing high-quality care and support to patients. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The House Supervisor will collaborate with medical staff, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Conduct utilization reviews to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Manage family planning services and provide support for patients with disabilities.
• Facilitate triage processes to prioritize patient needs effectively.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth.
• Oversee occupational health programs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide guidance on infant care and physiological needs of patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.

Skills

• Proficient in utilization review processes and family planning techniques.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, including Cerner and Athenahealth.
