Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously.
- Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed for lab tests.
- Implement pain management strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Assist patients with daily activities and mobility, including lifting and transferring when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in an ICU or critical care setting is preferred.
- Proficient in CT coding and understanding of related protocols.
- Experience administering injections and IV infusions is essential.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
- Previous travel nursing experience is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Pay: $71.74 - $76.25 per hour
