Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an ICU nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the necessary care and interventions.
- Monitor vital signs and manage life-support equipment as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including airway management and urgent care procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform laboratory tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures when required.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner or other electronic health record systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in an ICU or critical care setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and airway management skills.
- Familiarity with urgent care procedures and cardiac catheterization is a plus.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and the ability to perform basic coding tasks.
- Experience with Botulinum toxin treatment is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients, particularly in senior care settings.

Pay: $63.52 - $73.19 per hour
