Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings and possess a strong passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments to patients according to physician orders
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on treatment plans and disease management
- Assist in emergency situations, including urgent care needs and trauma cases
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Proficiency in administering medications and treatments
- Familiarity with inpatient care procedures
- Knowledge of occupational health practices
- Experience in family planning services is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, such as an ER or Level I Trauma Center
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $64.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
