Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols at all times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing is preferred; additional experience in areas such as Neonatal ventilator management, ER, CT, Clinic operations, Health coaching, MDS, Case management, Aseptic technique, or PICU is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in nursing practices.

Pay: $72.00 - $80.00 per hour
