Duties
- Continuously monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.
- Identify and report any abnormal findings or changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient data and observations.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monitoring equipment, ensuring all devices are functioning properly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care plans.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols while working within clinical settings.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to diagnostic evaluation and cardiac catheterization.
Skills
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring with a solid understanding of cardiac rhythms.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures.
- Experience or knowledge related to radiology is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
