Position Summary
The Facility Security Officer has overall responsibility and accountability for the efficient and productive operation of security and acts as the primarily liaison with government security personnel.

3 years serving as Facility Security Officer for DOD and IC Community

Associates or Bachelor's degree

TS/SCI with Polygraph

Experience with Insider Threat Programs

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Security Administration
- Evaluate and supervise security operations, inclusive of physical security assets and personnel.
- Ensures that security processes, procedures and instructions are developed and maintained in strict accordance with the clients physical and personal security requirements.
- Maintain compliance with any and all Federal laws, orders, or directors with respect to security.
- Manage day-to day operations of the following: personnel clearance processing, nominations tracking, indoctrinations, reporting, debriefs, and periodic use of personnel clearance data systems.
- Coordinate with IT Security personnel to ensure IT system security plans are adequate, review system-related security plans and both company and client IT and security organizations.
- Prepare reports and records for management team as needed.
- Evaluate current procedures, practices and precedents for accomplishing EKFoxs obligations and functions as it relates to our facility clearances.
- Perform audits of security related to project performance and conducts physical surveys of premise security.
- Manage generation, submission to the cognizant client, and ongoing maintenance of personal security clearances and accesses.
- Implement and manage security training, both required and identified needs.
- Orient all new hires to security procedures and operations, including the management of facility keys and access cards.
- Coordinates the travel security program.
- Conducts and adjudicates security incidents.
- Monitors compliance with information security policies and procedures.
- Actively fosters positive and productive working relationships with client and subcontractor/consultant security counterparts.
