We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic System Administrator. Under the direction of EKI IT Management, this position provides monitoring, configuration, maintenance, and security of EKI computer systems and servers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Active Directory domain and Group Policies.
- Configure, maintain, deploy and monitor Windows servers / workstations and VMs.
- Monitor and maintain on-prem and cloud backup systems.
- Apply security best practices, access controls, patch management, and training.
- Assist with support, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of corporate networks.
- Document configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Prepare clear, concise technical documentation for EKI userbase.
- Provide timely and knowledgeable responses to requests.
- Perform helpdesk management and support as needed.
- Provide assistance to all EKI offices and staff as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 yrs. as a System Administrator with Windows Server / Active Directory.
- 2 yrs. experience with hypervisor configuration (VMware / HyperV).
- 1 yrs. experience with cloud infrastructure services (AWS preferred).
- Network administration knowledge.
- Server licensing and management (Server 2012-2022).
- Corporate antivirus and malware solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies as needed.
- Manage and prioritize simultaneous tasks & deadlines.
- Produce quality work under pressure, while maintaining a professional attitude with co-workers / clients.
- Patience and ability to educate users on how to avoid or resolve problems.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Microsoft certification.
- SAN experience.
- Cisco CCNA.
Physical Job Requirements:
- Occasional bending, reaching, and lifting over 30 pounds.
- Frequently use hands to operate computer equipment; close vision required for computer usage.
- Typical working business-hours schedule with flexibility, as needed.
- Limited travel may be required.

The expected compensation range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
