Staff Accountant

We are looking for an ambitious Staff Accountant to provide support to the accounting department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and be able to work comfortably with numbers while prioritizing attention to detail. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficiency of the department and assist the company in being fully aware of its financial condition to accomplish long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accounts payable by tracking all incoming invoices and ensure timely payments
- Maintain accounts receivable, prepare billing and supporting information
- Communicate with vendors and confirm bank information
- Prepare journal entries
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the reconciliation of bank and credit card statements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting field
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Strong excel experience (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Index Match, SUMIFS)
Preferred Skills
- Experience utilizing QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or SAP is a plus
- Multiple entities reconciliation
