Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician at Ekon Medical LLC dba EKOM MEDICAL in Glendale, AZ.
The Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care to adult patients, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating common medical conditions, managing chronic diseases, and providing preventative care. This is an on-site role located in Greater Phoenix (Glendale / Peoria) Area. The Physician will be supported by an expert and qualified team, to help provide excellent care to our patients.
Qualifications
- Medical degree and board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Clinical skills in diagnosis and treatment of adult patients with acute and chronic disease management
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with office based procedures including but not limited to : EKGs, PFTs, Joint aspirations, Joint injections, PAP smears
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and medical billing practices
- Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license or necessary qualifications to obtain a license
- Active and unrestricted DEA license
- Graduate of an accredited medical school and residency program
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required
