Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead in the research, design, prototyping, and preparation for production of custom communications electronics.
- Engage in hands-on experimentation with new RF electrical hardware.
- Investigate and apply new technologies in the communications field.
- Develop technical specifications and test plans for new projects.
- Collaborate with technical authors to produce comprehensive operational documentation.
- Employ problem-solving skills to address challenges at both team and individual levels.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Proficiency in utilizing the Smith Chart for RF engineering applications.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in hardware development, specifically in the RF domain.
- Strong foundation in electronic mathematics and proficiency in computer modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of circuit boards, semiconductors, and various measurement equipment.
- Ability to produce detailed technical design documentation.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to organize tasks and set clear agendas.
- Exceptional attention to detail in all work processes.
- Superior problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen interest in acquiring new skills.
- Additional software skills are advantageous.
