As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations by feeding materials into or removing materials from machines or equipment that are automatic or tended by other workers. This position requires a diligent individual who can work effectively within a team environment and ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Feed materials into machines or equipment according to production specifications.
- Monitor the flow of materials and adjust feed rates as necessary to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Remove finished products or waste materials from machines or equipment and transfer them to designated areas.
- Assist machine operators or other workers in loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to uphold quality and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Basic understanding of machinery and equipment operation is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects if required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
Working Hours: 5:45AM-6:15PM
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
