We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to support various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. This role is vital in maintaining HR policies, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment, job postings, interview coordination, and pre-hire background screening.
- Coordinate onboarding processes, new hire paperwork, and compliance training.
- Manage benefits administration, including eligibility tracking and open enrollment.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws.
- Administer employee leaves of absence (e.g., FMLA) and maintain documentation.
- Support training and development programs, tracking employee training records.
- Assist with employee relations, including handling inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Ensure compliance with employment eligibility (I-9) and HRIS record maintenance.
- Support company events, including benefits enrollment, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Stay updated on federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
Qualifications (Must-Haves):
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years in human resources.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- General knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- PHR or SHRM-CP Certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Experience with Workday HRIS.
- HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
