The PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN is responsible for setting up and operating machinery for the production process. The role involves preparing raw materials, using precision measuring tools, and demonstrating a solid mechanical aptitude. Candidates should have hands-on experience with basic mechanical tasks such as vehicle maintenance, and be comfortable with using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Responsibilities:
- Set up raw materials for machine operation in accordance with production specifications.
- Operate and monitor machines to ensure efficient and safe production runs.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to maintain quality standards.
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and adjustments on machinery as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical aptitude, with experience in tasks such as oil changes and brake repairs.
- Proficiency with measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and production specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
Working Hours: Right now 7am-7pm; Mon- Thursday ; Friday is optional overtime - can work 56 hours ; Can be flexible for right person
Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
