Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Install and repair industrial and commercial refrigerating systems based on blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Document maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
- Test system operation using gauges and instruments.
- Disassemble, assemble, and install refrigeration equipment.
- Communicate with other departments and management regarding production efficiency concerns.
- Maintain inventory levels and report low supply levels to supervisor.
- Assist operators with training and troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
- Stay updated on new products, equipment, technology, and techniques.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Anticipate parts requirements and acquire parts ahead of task performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from trade or technical school preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of experience with ammonia refrigeration systems or related field, preferably in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance tools and activities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work without constant supervision.
Working Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm
Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Salary : $30 - $35
