We are seeking a Welder for a custom fabrication company in Leominster, Massachusetts, the company is open to temp to perm or direct hire arrangements depending on the applicants qualifications and situation. This is a first shift opportunity, overtime possibilities are available if desired.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate plasma cutting equipment to cut metal sheets and plates
- Utilize press brake machine and punch press
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fit metal parts
- Apply basic math skills to measure, cut, and align materials accurately
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams for fabrication projects
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
