We are seeking a Model Quality Assurance Manager to ensure product accuracy and adherence to technical specifications across all 3D assets. As the final checkpoint before assets are released for company use, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work within an established pipeline, and make necessary adjustments to models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Interpret, maintain, and enhance the quality control of 3D assets, ensuring compliance with defined QA standards.
• Communicate visual differences and technical issues, escalating concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Modify and adjust assets within 3DS Max when needed.
• Collaborate with Lead Artists to align workflows, quality expectations, and process improvements.
• Oversee and manage final assets within the shared repository.
• Document QA activities, internal reporting, and audits.
• Demonstrate the company’s Core and Growth Values in all job functions.
  
  

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Maintain reliable attendance and active participation in departmental meetings and training.
• Assist with training team members and providing support when needed.
• Complete additional assignments and special projects as requested.
  
  

Qualifications: Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Art or a related field, or equivalent work experience (required).
  
  

Experience:

• 5 years of experience in 3D modeling using 3DS Max (required).
  
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of three-dimensional design with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in 3D software including 3DS Max, V-Ray, Unreal Engine, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to collaborate professionally with teams, vendors, and external customers.
