Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Receptionist who can also function as a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring safety measures are followed.
- Manage patient records using Cloud9 software, including scheduling appointments and updating medical histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Support pediatric dentistry efforts by providing compassionate care to young patients.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and ready for use.
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and effective communication within the practice.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental terminology is essential.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, or Cloud9.
- Understanding of infection control practices in a dental setting.
- Ability to take X-rays safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient interaction, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
