- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to enhance presentation.
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards for food handling.
- Package baked goods for sale or catering orders, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients; assist in ordering as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in baking techniques, including cake decorating and pastry creation.
