Restaurant Host Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to from the moment they enter our restaurant.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly smile and positive demeanor.
• Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover and guest flow.
• Assist guests with reservations and provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and seating arrangements.
• Support food service operations by assisting in various tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
