Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and upselling drink specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Assist with bussing tables and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the establishment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
- Monitor guest consumption levels and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Stay informed about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or related roles within the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with cash handling procedures.
- Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a nightclub or high-energy environment, including late-night shifts.
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
