Job Summary
The Licensed Substance Abuse Associate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based treatment and intervention services for individuals struggling with alcohol and drug use disorders. This role requires strong interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
This position involves:
- Developing treatment plans and providing case management-counseling services to clients with substance use disorders
- Referring clients to additional resources as needed
- Crisis intervention and education on substance use prevention and recovery
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A degree in an addiction-related field (Associates or higher)
- 1-3 years of experience working with substance abuse issues
- Licensed Substance Abuse Associate licensure
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors or masters degree in Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling
- LADAC licensure
- Bilingualism in English and Spanish
