Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar
- Instructing patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and after-care for dental treatments
- Providing preventative dental care, including X-rays and mold-making for crowns and prosthetics
- Recording medical history and medication lists
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED plus graduation from a two-year ADA-accredited school of Dental Hygiene
- Licensure to practice dental hygiene from any state, territory, or province recognized by the Council on Education of the American Dental Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
This position reports directly to the Dental Director.
