What Were Looking For:
Were adding talented individuals to our amazing team. Experience will determine placement:
- No experience? Begin in an entry-level support role focused on cleaning and assisting, with opportunities to grow into patient and client-facing responsibilities.
- Requirements: Punctuality, attention to detail, teamwork, compassion, tech-savviness, and a passion for veterinary care.
Veterinary Assistant responsibilities may include:
- Cross training to a CSR position
- Assisting in exams
- Patient handling and restraint
- Must love cats and dogs (were a certified Cat Friendly Practice)
- Administering vaccines and medications
- Outpatient procedures
- Pharmacy duties
- Chores throughout the hospital such as cleaning, dishes, restocking, garbage, and laundry
- Assisting the medical staff, as needed
