We provide on the job training, though experience in general repairs and maintenance as well as specialized fields like carpentry, electrical, and plumbing are a plus. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team when needed.
Duties
- Perform general labor as part of assigned projects.
- Perform repairs on residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Respond promptly to service requests, ensuring timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with other techs as needed for larger projects or repairs.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
Experience and Requirements
- Experience in general repairs and maintenance is ideal, and knowledge in specialized fields like carpentry, electrical, and plumbing are a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a set of hand tools (power tools will be provided if needed).
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
