Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting SELPA administration in the coordination of services and support to member LEAs in the El Dorado Charter SELPA. The person in this position coordinates, plans, organizes, and oversees, assigned SELPA activities; assists schools, districts, and charters in operating effective special education programs; provides expertise related to special education.
Requirements / Qualifications
Ability to attend frequent/unscheduled in person meetings when notified, to support school partners in the the San Diego area, need to reside within County of San Diego to provide support to this area.
Education:
Master’s Degree preferred from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in special education or closely related field.
Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential, Education Specialist Credential, or other Special Education related Credential, and an Administrative Services Credential.
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Special Education Preferred knowledge of one of the following content areas: Program Quality, Mental Health, Special Education Compliance, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
