WAGE / HOUR STATUS : Non-exempt
LENGTH OF CONTRACT : 190 days
Classification : Licensed
HOURS : 7 : 50 am -3 : 25 pm
SALARY : $50,000 - $54,040 (A $2,000 stipend will be added for teaching Math or Science grades 7-12)
PRIMARY PURPOSE : A teacher is responsible for educating students while holding the belief that every student deserves an education which provides rigor, encourages resilience, and fosters responsibility. They also facilitate a safe space to learn, where communication, collaboration and critical thinking are used to push their students to be their very best.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certification : Bachelor's Degree, Arkansas Teacher's License

Other Physical Requirements
Ability to move around inside on hard surface and industrial carpeted surfaces, and to travel at a brisk walking pace relatively long inside distances, without needing to stop or rest. (If applicable : Must be able to perform sustained CPR with the subject on the floor.)Must have the ability to work for the duration of the daily contracted time period, and to be physically present and at assigned work, with only infrequent unexcused absences, during the contract year.
