The ideal candidate will be responsible for making and managing and coordinating schedules for our home health field staff ensuring efficient operations within our environment. This role is crucial in maintaining patient flow and supporting the overall functionality of our healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently while considering provider availability and patient needs.
- Maintain accurate records of appointments and patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information regarding their visits.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing medical collections as needed.
- Utilize medical office management software, including Kinnser/Wellsky EMR, Microsoft Office.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize scheduling and enhance patient care delivery.
Skills
- Strong administrative skills with experience in office management within a medical setting.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection.
- Experience with electronic medical records is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
