As a newer clinic, we are working to upgrade our operations to better serve our patients and community. We are seeking a personable, organized and detail-oriented Front Office Lead to be the first point of contact for our patients and ensure a welcoming, efficient, and organized clinic environment.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Front Office Leader to oversee the daily operations of our medical office’s front desk. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage administrative tasks, optimize patient flow, and lead front office staff to ensure an efficient, welcoming, and professional environment. The ideal candidate will bring leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee front office operations to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Train, mentor, and support front desk staff in daily administrative duties.
- Greet and assist patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of provider schedules.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Verify insurance information, process payments, and manage financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring timely and precise data entry.
- Implement and uphold office policies to maintain organization and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff to improve patient flow and office efficiency.
- Monitor front desk performance and suggest process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office/Google.
- Exceptional customer service, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, medical billing, and front office workflow is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
