Behavioral Health Therapist II

Position DescriptionTitle : Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW or LPC)Supervisor : Clinical SupervisorGeneral Qualifications : Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in State of Texas. Strong preference for prior experience with children, youth and families.General Description : Provide individual, family and / or group therapy to clients. Willingness to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Classification : Full-time, exempt, 40 hours per week (80% Direct Care, 20% Admin)In-person and virtual work options availableDuties and ResponsibilitiesProvide in-person (Center or community-based) and / or telehealth individual, group, and family therapy. Perform basic administrative tasks related to managing a caseloadMaintain complete, accurate and clear clinical records and documentation within the Centers electronic health record system.Attend and participate in agency meetings such as All Staff and Multi- Disciplinary Team Case Staffings (MDT).Participate in Peer Review process on a quarterly basis and other Performance Quality Improvement duties as assigned in accordance with the Centers National Council on Accreditation standards.Participate in continuing education.Obtain and maintain individual professional liability insurance for respective licensure.Other duties as assigned by Clinical Supervisor and / or Behavioral Health Director.Skills : Exhibit sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic differences in the service populationStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.Fluency in all Microsoft Suite program, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Exhibit commitment to Centers policies and practices to uphold diversity, inclusivity and equity at all levels of service delivery and employment.Demonstrate a commitment to empower children, youth and their support systems we serve.Demonstrate ability to work Collaboratively with other personnel.
