What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Patient Access, FT Days position at El Paso Children's Hospital?
Under the direction of the Administrative Director of Patient Financial Services and Associate Administrator, the Patient Access Director plans, directs, organizes, manages and evaluates staff in the Patient Access units. Responsible for directing and managing the activities of staff to create an environment of excellent customer service and identifying opportunities to aid in setting goals, priorities and optimizing staff performance through process redesign, policy/procedures and communication. Serves as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with mission, vision and values of El Paso Children’s Hospital. Collaborate with ancillary departments, nursing leadership, and Community Medicine providers. Designs and ensures implementation of processes that systematically monitor, analyze and contribute to the accurate and appropriate patient and billing disposition that will support a cohesive and efficient revenue cycle.
