What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG) Coordinator, FT Days position at El Paso Children's Hospital?
Performs electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings on patients and analyzes the results; archives data; screens patients; monitors EEG system; prints films; maintains equipment; performs pre-authorizations for outpatient EEGs and inpatient for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) at El Paso Children’s Hospital. EEG Coordinator will assist with calling, scheduling and providing instructions to all patients prior to scheduled appointment. They will be responsible for keeping a spreadsheet of completed/incomplete EEG’s. Keep equipment neat and orderly and maintain inventory of supplies.
