The Nurse Technician, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality, patient-centered and family-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to nursing functions and activities of daily living. The Nurse Technician assists the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the Nurse Technician skills/training and the needs of the assigned department/unit. The Nurse Technician consistently assists the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe environment of care. The Nurse Technician is currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing and can perform basic care procedures once competency is achieved.
