- Equipment Pro: Operate and maintain power tools, lawnmowers, and County vehicles like a pro.
- Clean & Green: Pick up trash, clean restrooms, and help keep our public spaces spotless.

Hiring Range: $18.50 - $19.05 Hourly
Under close supervision, assists with a variety of unskilled or limited semi-skilled labor tasks in the areas of park and grounds maintenance, facility or equipment maintenance, and construction.
- Performs unskilled or limited semi-skilled labor in any or all of the areas of grounds maintenance, facility or equipment maintenance, and construction, including turf and irrigation maintenance, minor construction, trash collection, and facility cleaning to include cleaning of restrooms.
- Operates assigned tools and equipment, including power tools as needed for assigned maintenance and improvement projects.
- Drives County vehicles and other equipment to perform assigned duties; operates all County vehicles and equipment per County guidelines.
- Performs routine and preventative maintenance and cleaning of assigned vehicles, equipment, and tools.
- Provides departmental support for special events and other activities.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance, hand and power tools, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical repairs.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain tools/equipment. Must observe and follow safety procedures and precautions.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with County employees and the public. Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Must be willing to work late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must pass conditional post offer background investigation, motor vehicle record check, drug screen, and physical examination.
Duties are performed both indoors and outside in the field in various weather conditions. Requires physical effort to perform frequent lifting, bending and climbing. Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Physical hazards may be present when mixing or working with chemicals and working with or near power tools and motorized equipment. May be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays. May be required to work in park locations other than the preferred site location indicated. This is a temporary position typically not to exceed five (5) months.
