Duties
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles to ensure optimal patient service.
- Provide support in managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the appropriate use of medications.
- Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to enhance pharmacy operations and patient safety.
- Stay updated on pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to hospital settings.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program is required.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
