Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently, processing payments with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and daily specials.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer interaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures is beneficial.
