Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, striving for excellent customer service.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Culinary knowledge is a plus, enhancing your ability to answer menu-related questions effectively.
