Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by serving drinks and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests seated at the bar.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs using Aloha POS system.
- Monitor guest behavior and consumption of alcohol, ensuring compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques, customer service standards, and safety protocols.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest relations in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of culinary practices related to food preparation and presentation is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated during busy shifts.
