Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items.
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently, ensuring all items are presented attractively.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, following safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Work as part of a team to create a positive dining experience for all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
- Experience with cash register systems; knowledge of Aloha POS is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
