The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing team performance, and driving business growth. Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Team Leadership: Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising team members to maintain a high-performing team.
- Customer Service: Ensure excellent guest experiences by maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer interactions.
- Financial Performance: Assist in controlling costs, managing budgets, and analyzing sales performance to achieve financial goals.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to maintain operational efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Address customer concerns, employee issues, and operational challenges proactively.
- Shift Management: Manage and coordinate shifts, ensuring proper staffing and smooth workflow.
- Marketing & Promotions: Support local marketing efforts and promotions to drive sales and brand recognition.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Training Requirement: Must be able to travel for up to 8 weeks for initial training.
- Experience: 1-3 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Business Acumen: Basic knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Flexibility: Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
