We’re looking for a warm, friendly, highly organized individual to join our private dental practice as a Dental Treatment Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a patient-facing position, has stellar communication skills, a solid grasp of dental procedures, and a passion for helping patients navigate their treatment and payment options. You’ll play a key part in ensuring patients feel supported while keeping our team aligned for top-notch care.
What You’ll Do:
1. Patient Coordination:
- Break down treatment plans, procedures, and schedules for patients in an approachable way.
- Walk patients through their options, answering questions and offering encouragement with care and clarity.
2. Planning:
- Develop custom treatment plans based on dentist input and patient needs.
- Arrange appointments that work for both patients and our clinical staff, keeping everything running smoothly.
3. Financial Support:
- Discuss costs and payment solutions with patients, making the process straightforward.
- Help patients understand insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs, setting up payment plans when needed.
4. Documentation:
- Keep patient files, treatment details, and financial records accurate and current.
- Ensure all paperwork meets privacy standards and stays confidential.
5. Communication:
- Bridge communication between patients and the dental team, keeping everyone in the loop on treatment updates.
- Relay changes or adjustments promptly and professionally.
6. Office Assistance:
- Pitch in with front-office duties like greeting patients, managing calls, and scheduling appointments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a dental or healthcare setting, such as treatment coordination or a similar patient-facing role.
- Familiarity with dental terms, procedures, and insurance.
- Outstanding people skills with a focus on making patients feel at ease.
- Ability to simplify complicated details with kindness and confidence.
- Comfort with dental software (big plus if you’ve used Dentrix) and basic office technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent; extra training or certifications are a great advantage.
