Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Stay informed about current drink trends, brewing techniques, and menu offerings to enhance guest experience.

Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred; nightclub experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and retail math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations; relevant certifications in food handling are preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $2.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
