Job Summary
We are seeking a Restaurant Clerk to join our Store Operations Team at El Super #64 San Ysidro. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of grilled and hot food items, following precise company standards for preparation and presentation and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
- Write simple correspondence
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
Requirements
- Basic PC/Outlook skills
- Retail Management Certificate
- Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food
