Automotive Mobile Service Technician - Ford of Boerne
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing convenient, on-site automotive repairs and maintenance to customers at their preferred location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for vehicles and a desire to create a career in automotive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality, on-site automotive minor repairs and maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, battery replacement, and more.
- Provide clear explanations and cost estimates for services to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized mobile service vehicle, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stocked and maintained.
- Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, addressing their concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety standards and best practices during all repair work.
- Maintain accurate service records and report completed work to management.
- Continuously stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and trends.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive repair is preferred (e.g., ASE certification).
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repair processes.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to lift heavy items, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks related to automotive repairs.
