Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Your main goal will be to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Upsell additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks
- Enter orders into the POS system (Aloha POS) and ensure accuracy
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and assist with bussing when necessary
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with food preparation as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in using cash registers and POS systems (experience with Aloha POS is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
