Equipment Installation and Maintenance
- Install and repair petroleum equipment, such as fuel pumps, dispensers, and point-of-sale systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on various fuel systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in service station systems.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for customers experiencing equipment malfunctions.
- Use diagnostic tools and manuals to identify and resolve system failures.
- Troubleshoot communication and software issues in electronic systems.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Adhere to company safety standards and procedures during installations and repairs.
- Conduct inspections to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently.
Customer Service
- Communicate with clients to explain work performed and recommend solutions for equipment issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all job sites.
- Train clients on the proper use and care of equipment as needed.
Recordkeeping and Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, including work completed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Submit work orders, expense reports, and time logs accurately and promptly.
Travel and On-Site Work
- Travel to various client sites, sometimes on short notice, to perform installations or repairs.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.

Certifications and Specialized Expertise
- Wayne Certification
- Install, configure, and repair Wayne fuel dispensers and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues specific to Wayne equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards.
- Gilbarco Certification
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on Gilbarco fuel dispensers and point-of-sale systems.
- Stay updated on the latest Gilbarco software and hardware updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Verifone Certification
- Set up, repair, and maintain Verifone payment systems, including EMV-compliant and contactless terminals.
- Troubleshoot communication and software integration issues with Verifone systems.
Technical Skills and Responsibilities
- Work with and troubleshoot petroleum equipment systems, including those manufactured by Wayne, Gilbarco, and Verifone, with certified expertise.
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet the standards and guidelines provided by the respective manufacturers.
- Provide advanced technical support and training to customers for Wayne, Gilbarco, and Verifone equipment.
Safety, Compliance, and Recordkeeping
- Conduct all work following manufacturer-specific safety guidelines and certification protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on certified systems to meet compliance and warranty requirements.
Customer Service and Training
- Act as a subject matter expert for certified equipment, offering professional advice and solutions tailored to Wayne, Gilbarco, and Verifone systems.
- Train clients and other team members on proper use and maintenance of certified systems.
Holding these certifications ensures a high level of expertise and compliance when working on specialized fuel and payment systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
